Every year, Muslims around the world fast daily during the holy month of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and is considered the holiest of the year. Iftar during Ramadan is the time each day at sunset for family, friends, and whole communities to come together to break their fast. This year, join International Council for our first Ramadan Iftar!
Learn about the month of Ramadan and Muslim culture around
the world. You don’t have to be Muslim to attend. This event is open for the entire UNLV community, whatever your faith may be. If you can, bring a couple of canned foods to donate to the UNLV Food Pantry. See you there!
